You're not alone—many of our guests arrive solo, and Tauhara is the perfect place to feel at ease. New Zealand is one of the safest and friendliest countries in the world, and Kiwis are well known for their warm hospitality. If you're flying into Auckland or Wellington, the onward journey to Taupō is straightforward by domestic flight, shuttle, or rental car. As for sharing a room—remember that most people are coming with the same intention: to grow, connect, and feel supported. If you book a twin share, we'll carefully pair you with another guest of the same gender. Often, these room connections lead to lasting friendships.

PLUS... if you're not currently a member (or have been a member before), we highly recommend you take up our Inner Self Mastery membership. It's a beautiful way to connect with fellow retreat participants online beforehand, and you'll quickly realise you are not alone.
